Having a child inspired us to become farmers. We began asking more questions about where our food came from, how it was raised, and what went into producing it. We wanted food that was delicious, local, wholesome and responsibly raised. Just as importantly, we wanted our child to grow up connected to the source of their food, understanding and respecting the animals and land that nourish us.

That became the foundation of Fieldsong Farm.

Our mission is to raise exceptional food for our family and our community while giving our animals healthy, natural lives and caring thoughtfully for the land we call home. Our pigs and chickens are pasture-raised, with the freedom to roam, forage, socialize and enjoy the sunshine. We take great pride in the health and happiness of our animals and in the long-term well-being of our farm.

We farm without the chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and routine pharmaceuticals commonly associated with conventional agriculture. Instead, we work with the land and allow our animals to live as naturally as possible.

We believe happy, healthy, pasture-raised animals produce extraordinary food. The result is pork and eggs full of flavour, quality and nutrition. It gives us enormous joy to put food on your table that we are proud to feed our own family.
